I understand your struggle about going to school

Hi. I am the wife of an USAF veteran, so I can empathize with your situation. First of all, I not only thank your husband for his service, but thank you as well. I know it is hard being the one at home when your spouse is defending our country!
I see nothing wrong with trying to better yourself and your family's situation by going to school. I did it while my husband was active duty, although he wasn't deployed at the time. The way I looked at it, one of us had to have a job when he retired - it wasn't about me being selfish, it was about our family's welfare. Although my husband had rank in the military, that is not the same as having experience in the civilian world
